Morley Literature Festival is back from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November, revived after several years away by the team behind Resident Bookclub, the town’s largest book club. Four days of author conversations, poetry, creative workshops, performance and family events are spread across venues around the town, including Morley Live CIC, The Prospect, Unity Hall and St Peter’s. The relaunch is backed by Leeds City Council and Morley Town Council, and the organisers say they want the festival to keep growing, with even bigger plans to coincide with the reopening of Morley Town Hall next year.
