Final plans have been confirmed for Horsforth’s Remembrance Sunday march and service on Sunday 8 November, Horsforth Town Council’s events committee has announced.
Everyone is welcome to join the march, which meets at 10.00am at the junction of Broadgate Lane and Stanhope Drive, outside Morrisons Daily. The route runs down Stanhope Drive to the Horsforth Cenotaph, where the service begins at 10.45am.
Rolling road closures will be in place between 10.00am and 11.30am as required. The committee is also finalising this year’s Christmas lights switch-on, which takes place on the first Saturday of December (5 December) as a full-day event.
