Rail passengers travelling between Leeds and York face disruption this weekend, with engineering works closing lines on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November.
All lines are closed between Leeds, Selby, Church Fenton, Poppleton and York, and between York and Darlington and Redcar, for track and signalling upgrades. Replacement buses are running between Leeds and York and Darlington, and between Doncaster, York and intermediate stations.
CrossCountry, LNER, Northern and TransPennine Express services are all affected. Passengers are advised to check before travelling and allow extra time for their journeys.
