Elland Road: Marching on Together, since 1904

Football has been played at Elland Road since 1904 — first by Leeds City, then, from 1919, by Leeds United, whose ground this unmistakably is: 37,000 seats, the Don Revie and Norman Hunter stands, and the Billy Bremner statue keeping watch outside.

On non-matchdays, stadium tours take you down the tunnel and into the dressing rooms; on matchdays Beeston fills with white shirts long before kick-off. Whether you follow United or not, this is one of Leeds’ defining places.
