The 40th Leeds International Film Festival runs from Thursday 29 October to Sunday 15 November, with more than 250 films over 18 days at venues across the city including Vue in The Light, Everyman Leeds, Hyde Park Picture House and Cottage Road Cinema. Opening films include Mouse, the folk fable Wicker starring Olivia Colman, Leeds punk-band documentary Ultimate Thunder, and the first-ever family opening film, Iron Boy. LIFF is Oscar and BAFTA qualifying for short films.
