Leeds United slipped to a 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, with a first-half mistake by goalkeeper James Trafford setting the Cherries on their way to a sixth straight win without conceding.

Leeds had started brightly on the south coast and thought they had taken an 11th-minute lead when Dominic Calvert-Lewin bundled the ball in, only for VAR to rule the goal out for handball. Harry Wilson also went close for the visitors.
The game turned on 31 minutes when Trafford played a short pass out straight to Justin Kluivert, who squared for Evanilson to tap into an empty net. Leeds failed to register a single shot on target in the second half, and Bournemouth sealed the points in stoppage time when substitute Eli Kroupi set up Amine Adli.
It is only Leeds’ second league defeat of the season, but it extends their winless run to five matches.
