Two heavyweight productions share the Grand stage in Opera North’s winter season:
Don Giovanni (Friday 5 – Friday 26 February) — Mozart’s dark comedy of the great seducer who finally meets a guest he cannot charm.
Dead Man Walking (Friday 19 – Saturday 27 February) — Jake Heggie’s opera of Sister Helen Prejean’s work with a death-row prisoner, from the book and film of the same name.
