The six wives of Henry VIII take back the microphone. SIX — the Tudor queens reimagined as a pop group, each telling her side of the story in an 80-minute, no-interval concert of a musical — plays a five-day stop at Leeds Grand Theatre as part of its UK tour.

It started as a Cambridge student show at the Edinburgh Fringe and became a West End and Broadway phenomenon. Expect big choruses, bigger costumes and a her-story lesson you will actually remember.
Leeds Grand Theatre, Tuesday 3 – Saturday 7 November. Tickets and times: Leeds Heritage Theatres.
