Springhead Park is Rothwell’s principal park — lawns, mature trees and flower beds sloping gently through the middle of the town, with an aviary that has charmed children for generations.
There are bowling greens, tennis courts and play areas, and the park is the natural stage for the town’s carnival and summer events.
