Bramham Park is the full stately works: a baroque house built in 1698–1710, formal gardens, and 500 acres of landscaped parkland threaded with avenues, follies and an ornamental lake, just east of Leeds near Wetherby.

Most people meet Bramham through its horse trials in June (see What’s On), but the grounds repay a quiet visit of their own: gardens and park walks in one of England’s great designed landscapes — which earns it both our Attractions and Parks tags.
