Guiseley AFC will welcome Sutton United to Nethermoor in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup on the weekend of Saturday 7 November.
The Lions reached the first round proper with a 3-0 win at Leiston, where Elliot Owen, Jordan Thewlis and Jack Emmett scored in a nine-minute first-half spell. Owen also scored the only goal in the previous round against Bradford (Park Avenue).
Guiseley’s league fixture against FC United of Manchester, originally scheduled for 7 November, has been postponed because of the cup tie and will be rearranged. The Lions warmed up for the tie with a 2-1 league win over Cleethorpes Town at Nethermoor.
