The covered market on Queen Street has been a fixture of Morley town centre for generations — fresh food, butchers and everyday stalls under one roof, in the tradition of the market charter the town fought for in the 1880s.

Make a short heritage walk of it: the Ernie Wise statue stands on Queen Street, the Beryl Burton Gardens honour the great cyclist who made Morley her home, and the Town Hall (closed for its Town Deal renovation until around 2027) still dominates the street outside. Finish at the library on Commercial Street.
