Otley gets its own literature festival for the first time this year: Otley Bookfest runs at Otley Common over the weekend of Friday 27 to Sunday 29 November 2026.
The festival will feature well-known authors in conversation, with readings, music and workshops. A launch concert back in July — with the Commoners Choir and the Otley Ukulele Orchestra — gave a first taste of what’s in store.
