Wetherby textiles firm Arville partners with Leeds Beckett on data-led growth

Wetherby-based technical textiles specialist Arville has launched a 30-month partnership with Leeds Beckett University to make better use of the data it holds across the business.

The Knowledge Transfer Partnership, part-funded by UK Research and Innovation through Innovate UK, brings together experts from the university’s School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing and Leeds Business School. They will work with Arville to connect its separate systems and join up operational and commercial data, giving the company a clearer view of performance across customers, products and brands.

Arville has been trading for 75 years and is a world-class maker of technical textiles. Project lead Dr David Love said the partnership would help the company reach new customers and markets, creating growth and opportunities that extend well beyond the lifetime of the project.
