Wetherby Racecourse hosts its early-season highlight on Saturday 31 October, when the Grade 2 bet365 Charlie Hall Chase tops the bill at the West Yorkshire track.

Dan Skelton could run three in the three-mile contest, including Pic D’orhy, a dual Grade 1 winner under Paul Nicholls who would be making his debut for the Skelton yard, alongside Doyen Quest and Riskintheground. Nicholls himself may rely on Twinjets and Hitman as he bids for a sixth Charlie Hall win.
The 2024 winner The Real Whacker could return for Patrick Neville, while Handstands, Master Chewy, Konfusion and Blow Your Wad complete a possible field of ten for one of the season’s key early staying chases.
